Passages International Welcomes New Sales Representative

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (July 12, 2022) - Passages International has added Kerry Potter to their team as a Sales Representative. Kerry will be managing outside sales to wholesale customers, including funeral homes, cemeteries, and more.

Potter is a green burial advocate and educator. She began her career in the industry when she opened her natural burial boutique, Dying to Bloom, where she sold earth-friendly burial products. As an executive for a radio station in New York, she also hosted a call-in talk show that focused on green burial trends and services.

Potter is a certified life-cycle celebrant and hospice volunteer, and understands the healing comfort of end-of-life ceremonies. Impressed with the products and mission of Passages, Potter is excited to represent the company and looks forward to building relationships with funeral directors in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.

Today’s families choose cremation because it offers more flexibility and freedom among many other reasons. These families still deserve better than a cardboard box cremation container, and the Simple Bamboo Container brings a warmer touch to the memorial for the family, is better for the environment, and is better for funeral homes’ bottom line.

Potter will also be partnering with funeral homes to help them align with the new scattering reality. With almost 50% of families intending to scatter cremated remains, there is a huge opportunity to update stale urn selections with less traditional and biodegradable options to reflect this new normal.
